Who are FinUA?
At finua.org, we are a community of Ukrainians and Finns who came together on the first day of full-scale invasion on 24.02.2022 to support Ukrainians arriving in Finland. We thought it would be a short-term project, just helping for a few weeks. What we thought was going to be as a temporary effort to help for newly arrived Ukrainians, has grown beyond anything we expected, and we’re continuing to grow, counting a team of more than 35 volunteers as of 2024.
Now, almost 3 years later, the situation remains critical, and so does our work. With tremendous support from volunteers and our community, FinUA has grown into a registered non-profit association, FinUA-yhdistys ry, supporting Ukrainians who relocated or want to relocate to Finland.

How do we help?
Arrival and integrating into a new country is a challenging process. We publish vital and comprehensive information on finua.org for Ukrainians who have moved to Finland.
We help non-English speaking Ukrainian refugees to find jobs, to seek the right kind of help, such as psychological support, and build a bright future in Finland. We also answer their questions in our chat support.

👽 Transparency
FinUA is a completely volunteer-based initiative. We support it with our own money. In a spirit of transparency, this is our accounting
