House of Helsinki

House of Helsinki’s project Refufin 2023-2025 is aimed at providing guidance, counselling, and support services to Ukrainian refugees in Finland. The goal of Home Accommodation Network is that more asylum seekers and Ukrainians receiving temporary protection in Finland can choose to live in a home stay instead of a reception center.

Provide help directly to Ukrainians with Commu App

Use our partners Commu App to provide help to Ukrainians nearby. You can give food aid, donate clothes and furniture, offer a ride to shops, offices, to take a passport photo or the airport, help with filling in documents and applications, help find day-care centres, schools, libraries, Kela , TE Office, etc.

After registering in Commu and verifying email address, select "Offer to help", then "Ukrainian crisis" and create your offering. You can also look what people are currently needing.
