The project aims to facilitate adaptation and integration into life within a Finnish municipality. Our specialists provide free individual consultations, assist with documentation, and help answer practical questions that arise during your transition to municipal services.
🧭 How Can We Help?
The My Hometown team supports you in a wide range of everyday matters, including:
- ✅ Filling in applications for Kela
- ✅ Opening a bank account
- ✅ Issues related to education, housing, and employment
- ✅ Finding appropriate social and healthcare services
- ✅ Communication with authorities: Kela, Migri, the Tax Administration, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, and more
- ✅ Information on registration, residence address, and rights
Consultations are available:
- In person
- By phone
- Via WhatsApp or SMS
- When needed — through video meetings or in-person accompaniment to services, such as visiting a bank
