About FinUA:
FinUA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Ukrainians in Finland by providing legal guidance, emotional support, and essential resources. Our mission is to ensure that every Ukrainian in Finland has access to clear, user-friendly, and accessible digital tools that empower them to navigate residency, employment, and social benefits.
About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to help improve the usability and accessibility of finua.org and my.finua.org.
As a UX/UI Designer Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital platforms to ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience for our community members.
Responsibilities:
- Improve the usability and accessibility of our websites finua.org and my.finua.org.
- Design and prototype user-friendly interfaces that make information easy to find and understand.
- Collaborate with developers and content creators to enhance website structure and visual appeal.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to optimize the user experience.
- Ensure that all designs are responsive and mobile-friendly.
- Align designs with FinUA’s brand identity and mission.
Qualifications:
- Experience in UX/UI design (students and junior designers are welcome to apply).
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices.
- Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and conducting user research.
- Ability to communicate design concepts effectively and collaborate with a team.
- Passion for creating meaningful and impactful user experiences.
